IT Analyst -Pune
Job Description:
We are having an urgent opening for the position of IT Analyst for a reputed Company at the Pune location.
This position liaises between business and technical groups and is responsible for creating documentation to ensure ongoing communication and development is clear. The Analyst helps ensure technical work is properly prioritized according to the priorities set by leadership and the project manager. This role serves as the primary contact for Workday configuration, coordinating user acceptance testing before and after production releases as well as production support responsibilities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understand and discuss technical concepts with non-technical and technical employees
- Participate in Agile team ceremonies
- Conduct unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure changes meet requirements
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with users for small projects
- Document use cases and technical guidelines for assigned projects
- Resolve maintenance projects as they arise with guidance from Senior and/or Lead Analyst
- Identify issue patterns and participate in root cause analysis and resolution
- Responsible for system monitoring, support response and support queue management for any one of OIA's applications
- Occasional on-call support outside normal business hours
- Experience leveraging both agile development and waterfall release approaches
- Experience with LEAN or other process improvement methodologies
- Experience with writing Functional and System documentation
- Knowledge of technology, vendors, services, and methodologies to build digital offerings
- Able to learn how to use collaboration tools such as Mural, LucidChart
- Familiarity with PowerBi Preferred
- Familiarity with Application Integration Preferred
- Familiarity with RPA, AI, ML Preferred
Professional Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as an analyst or system administrator of the Workday platform
- Understanding of Workday Core Financials, Procurement, and HCM.
- Familiiary with creating and maintaining integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio including experience using Reports as a Service, and system to system integrations
- Experience migratining configurations and changes across multiple Workday tenants
- Understanding of Workday’s security and experience assigning roles and security groups
- Experience with BIRT layout configuration and maintenance
- Workday certification preferred but not required
