Senior DevOps Engineer-Mumbai/Bangalore

Job Description:

We have an urgent opening for the position of Senior DevOps Engineer for a reputed Company at the Mumbai/Banglore location. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and deploy mission-critical, customer-facing, production application stack.
• Establish reliable platform performance, monitoring, and overall stability of DevOps systems/Environment
• Lead DevOps tools and product platform support
• Proactive monitoring of platform and services
• Interacting with the Engineering for supporting/maintaining/designing backend infrastructure for product support
• Automation of deployment, customization, upgrades, and monitoring through the modern technology stack
• Performance tuning, monitoring, maintaining fault-tolerant/HA infrastructure
• Disaster recovery maintenance and syncing
• Troubleshooting and resolution of server/network issues
• Build documentation SOPs and provide knowledge transfer
• Worked in Agile framework and manage Scrum/Kanban
• Lead/manage a team and provide timely updates and reports to senior management

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech 

• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps Culture
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience on Git, Jenkins, Jira, Wiki, Nexus, or equivalent tools
• Experience with Release Engineering and Continuous Integration using tools
• like Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc and integrate testing with SonarQube, etc
• Hands-on experience on Jboss and Tomcat 
• Familiar with supporting Java/.Net applications on both DevOps and
• Infrastructure perspective
• Strong scripting experience to support automation of ad-hoc/BAU tasks
• Hands-on experience on either AWS/ Azure 
• Experience in Monitoring - Infra, Application monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Terraform/CFT and Ansible
• Familiar with application deployment and release management process
• Experience coordinating maintenance and patching activities
