Job Description:

Job Role:

The Plant Operations Lead is eyes, hands, and accountability on-site. If production slips, quality fails, or the machine goes down without a plan, it shows directly on client commitments and invoice fulfilment. This role demands zero-excuse ownership — and rewards it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Machine operations & maintenance, accountable for production at site and ensuring committed delivery targets
  2. Quality Control - pre-production &  post-production as per a set protocol
  3. Inventory & raw material management at the site
  4. Maintaining logs, reporting & escalation management
  5. Site safety, security & discipline

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  1. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering — or equivalent technical background
  2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in plant or equipment operations. Hydraulic press machines, vibro-compaction, or similar mechanical equipment preferred
  3. Construction materials, block manufacturing, precast, or heavy engineering background is a strong advantage
  4. First-principles troubleshooter — you diagnose before you escalate and you don't wait to be told
  5. Disciplined record-keeper with proven ability to run a two-shift operation independently
  6. Comfortable in a lean startup context — high accountability, direct escalation, no hand-holding.

What We Offer:

  • Accommodation - Company-arranged housing at or near the plant site
  • Travel Allowance - Fixed monthly component for work-related travel
  • Direct Access - Flat hierarchy — straight line to Head of Operations, no layers
  • Growth - Own an operation end-to-end as the company scales to 15+ sites
