Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Statutory Labour Law Compliance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in labour law compliance, particularly in the construction and infrastructure industry, with a proven track record in litigation, contract labour management, and industrial relations. The role requires expertise in applicable employment legislations, strong liaisoning skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to our entrepreneurial and results-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities

Labour Law Compliance
- In-depth understanding and management of The CL (R&A) Act 1970, The EPF & MP Act 1952, The ESI Act 1948, and allied wage/salary laws.
- Ensure compliance with Social Security, Industrial Relations, and Occupational Health & Safety legislations.
- Prepare and file statutory documents, returns, and forms with relevant authorities.

Litigation & Union Management
- Handle employee relations and industrial relations cases, including union negotiations and settlements.
- Manage disputes, grievances, and other labour law-related matters.

Contract Labour Management
- Oversee all aspects of contract labour management, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders for seamless management of labour resources.

Policy & Procedure
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislations.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, labour laws, and compliance requirements to internal teams.

Liaisoning & Agreement Management
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities and government bodies.
- Vet agreements and Memoranda of Understanding to ensure alignment with statutory requirements.

General Requirements
- Be a self-starter with independent accountability and initiative.
- Display strong computer literacy, communication, and negotiation skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
- Education: Full-time MBA/MSW/MHRM/MLW.
- Experience:
- 5–7 years in employee relations, industrial relations, or labour law administration.
- Strong experience in dealing with unions and handling litigation.
- Proven expertise in labour law compliance and contract labour management.
- Skills:
- Fluency in English and Gujarati is essential.
- Proficiency in labour laws, HR policies, and compliance management.
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
