Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth in both existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the tobacco industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across different market segments.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, expanding market share and developing strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Train and mentor the sales team to improve performance, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards, especially in regard to tobacco-related laws and marketing practices.
  • Manage and control the sales budget to optimize resources and maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the tobacco or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the tobacco industry, including market trends, regulations, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
