Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Government Relations:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IAS, IPS, and other high-level government officials, understanding the structure and protocol for effective engagement.
    • Act as the primary liaison for interactions with government departments, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.
  2. Public Policy and Advocacy:
    • Track and analyze government policies, regulations, and initiatives that impact the company, providing strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
    • Advocate for company interests in government forums and with regulatory bodies, supporting favorable policy outcomes.
  3. Strategic Communication:
    • Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company’s image and strengthen its influence within governmental and bureaucratic circles.
    • Manage public perception through media and government channels, focusing on reputation building and risk mitigation.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and sustain relationships with political leaders, industry influencers, and key decision-makers, establishing the company as a trusted partner in relevant projects and initiatives.
    • Plan and execute high-level meetings, presentations, and events with government officials and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  5. Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution:
    • Lead crisis communication efforts in collaboration with senior leaders, effectively addressing issues and managing government relations in challenging situations.

Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record in managing relationships with senior bureaucratic and political stakeholders.
  • Extensive network within government circles, including established relationships with IAS, IPS, and key politicians.
  • Experience in advocating for company interests, handling public policy issues, and managing high-stakes communications.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a diplomatic approach to relationship-building.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
