Job Title: Senior Business Development – OEM Segment (Automotive Lighting)

Experience: 12+ Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives and foster strong relationships with OEM customers in the Commercial Vehicle, Off-Road, and Passenger Vehicle sectors. The ideal candidate will have an extensive database of industry contacts, in-depth market knowledge, and the ability to drive revenue growth while aligning with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust database of key contacts within the Commercial Vehicle, Off-Road, and Passenger Vehicle sectors.
  • Identify and assess potential markets and suitable products for targeted customer segments.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of the PAN India automobile market to create and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with OE customers to ensure repeat and long- term business.
  • Exhibit excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and partnerships.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities to guide teams and stakeholders towards business goals.
  • Create and implement comprehensive business roadmaps to achieve organizational targets.
  • Utilize existing contacts within the automotive lighting industry to generate new leads and partnerships.
  • Actively contribute to the development of business plans and strategic initiatives for the organization.
  • Manage RFQs, proposals, and follow-ups to ensure timely customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Prepare compelling and customer-centric presentations to drive engagement and trust.
  • Conduct monthly self-reviews to monitor order pipelines, evaluate progress, and identify new product opportunities.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee business strategies focused on growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in technical or non-technical disciplines. 
  • Experience: 12–20 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on business development and OEM customer interactions.

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive lighting technologies and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong result-oriented and target-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools and software to create customer-engaging content.
