Manager Business Development - Manufacturing Industry - Gurugram
Job Description:
We have an urgent opening for the post of Manager Business Development for a reputed Company for their Corporate office at Gurugram location.
Reports to: MD
Band/Level: Middle Management
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare a list of existing customers and categorize them as per industry verticals.
- To prepare a list of unexplored/potential customers for tractor and construction equipment from automotive segments.
- To prepare a list of focus industry and identify unexplored business opportunities from tractor and construction equipment customers.
- To ensure that you have a database of 20 unexplored customers at all the time.
- To make call to at least 6-8 new prospective customers per week to explore new business opportunities rom tractor and construction equipment customers.
- To maintain a tracker to record each attempt and visit to customer with remarks.
- To prepare a product list used by the visiting customer and identify the gap to explore the opportunities and present to Management on monthly basis.
- To prepare a company presentation as per the industry segment and ensure that it is being adapted as per the customer expectations.
- To make at least 6-8 presentations in a month to different clients to achieve more orders.
- To conduct self-review on monthly basis to monitor the progress on new order pipeline and to identify new products to explore business.
- To co-ordinate the changes proposed by customer and ensure that it get done within a week time post receiving communication.
- To finalize order delivery date in consultation with production head and communicate the same to customer for his concurrence.
- To initiate the process of receiving PO and share details with all concerns within company.
- To follow-up payments and ensure timely receipt as per the agreement and PO terms.
- To address all queries of customer, post-delivery of product and take feedback from customer after delivery of product.
- To generate at least 4-6 new order on monthly basis from new customers from different segments of automotive industry
- To fetch repeat order from 90% of existing customers.
- To receive at least 80 orders per month from existing customers who had purchased the products from company in past or fetch a single order of 50 lac every month. It means to promote repeat order from loyal and satisfied customers.
- To make 10- 15 calls to new customers and fix at least 10-15 meetings on monthly basis.
- To make 15-20 calls to old customers and fix 8-12 meetings on monthly basis.
- To prepare communication library and ensure that each customer receives at least one written communication from company on quarterly basis.
- To ensure that each prospective customer receives greetings on all important occasions, like birthday, anniversary, or any other occasion which matters to the decision takers in that company.
- To plan one physical visit with all old/ new customers on quarterly basis or on by-yearly basis.
- To stay in touch with old customers by using social media, e mail or by means of other digital marketing initiatives.
- To create a pipeline of hot customers having business potential of five Cr at all time
- To discuss and review the list of hot prospective with Management on weekly review.
- To prepare an incentive scheme for the border line customers to ensure at least one large order from them.
- To prepare a digital newsletter to appraise old customer about company growth and success story on quarterly basis.
- To carry out study on competitor movement in the market and submit for monthly review.
- To ensure that product leaflets and broachers are available at all the time for every potential customer.
- To identify new markets within same territory or in new territory
- To prepare marketing budget for his own area and roll out marketing initiatives.
- To ensure that 10 new products are added on annual basis.
- To participate in one exhibition on quarterly basis and identify at least 10 new opportunities.
Educational Qualification -B. Tech, MBA- Marketing
Technical Qualification -Technical specifications of light industry
