Job Description:

We have an urgent opening for the position of GM-Operations for a reputed company

Key Points:

1. Implement best practices of TQM & value engineering 
2. Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence 
3. Improve productivity, quality awareness and compliance 
4. Develop new product variations and cost effective alternatives 
5. Train and develop team on?technical?capabilities 
6. Improve network and liaison with relevant authorities 
7. Guide to set up good practices in the units & maintain healthy IR 
8. Responsible for the overall P&L of the units 
9. Overview business growth for the vertical? 
10. Independently handle green field projects from conception to commissioning

Candidate Profile:

20+ years total experience preferably in both medium & large manufacturing units managing
production volumes and operation of multiple plants. 
2. Hardcore production person, having good knowledge and experience to turnaround units in
productivity and overall operational excellence. 
3. Exposure in export oriented manufacturing plants 
4. Good customer orientation 
5. Work experience in West Bengal for substantial period 
6. Exposure in setting up new production units – green field projects 
7. Proven strategic contribution in business operation and people management

8. Preferable - Experience in plastic packaging, BOPP, PPE, PP liner etc.
