We have an urgent opening for the position of HR Head for a reputed Company for Vashi(Navi Mumbai) location.

Major Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for defining, refining, and implementing HR processes.
- Recruitment – i.e., Sourcing & Selection
- Induction of new employees
- Training – both functional & Behavioral
- Policy frameworks
- Performance & compensation management
- Define & prioritize the Annual HR roadmap for the company in consultation with the promoters
- Must build a good understanding of Day-Night operations
- Facilitate, organize training across various functions (may not directly train) but ensure training needs are identified regularly, identifying trainers – internal & external, putting a calendar, ensuring adherence to the training schedule, etc.
- Review key policy areas/gaps if any – based on feedback from all stakeholders i.e., promoters, employees, market practices, etc.
- Responsible for the HR MIS system, metrics on headcount, etc.
- Employee life cycle management – from entry to exit including employee database management
- Employee engagement
- Taking the pulse of the organization at regular intervals and addressing issues in a constructive manner
- Recognition processes
- Manage multiple stakeholders’ expectations i.e., working with Group Leaders, functional leads like the IT team to enhance the overall working environment
- Ensure legal compliances with respect to employees are managed with respect to state/country laws e.g., leave, wage payments, payroll, PF jointly with the external consultants/finance team
- Define Training Calendar, facilitate training needs identification, coordinate with process/ functional trainers.
- Additional Role Expectations
- Should be able to independently engage with other functional / process leads to seek and understand their points of view
- Play a facilitative role in translating expressed needs, anticipate problem areas, and enable leaders to take appropriate decision
- Should be experienced enough to engage with the owners and provide insights, generate alternatives, assess the impact of certain actions/decisions.
- 1-2 meetings a week on US hours with owners of the company
- An analytical mindset. Should be able to take a data-driven approach to manage HR while remaining sensitive to employee needs and human.
- Typical Education & Experience Profile
- Ideally, an HR Postgraduate degree from an accepted/reputed institute in India
- HR generalist with about 10-15 years experience in managing in HR
- Typical age: 30 – 40 years
- Experience in a wide spectrum of companies small and large would be advantageous. At least 1-2 strong stints in the 10 -12 years
- Exposure to family-run businesses would be an added advantage
- Mumbai-based candidates would be given preference
- Experience in a BPO – transaction processing industry is an advantage though not mandatory. Medical billing experience is not mandatory but strongly preferred.
- Experience structuring and managing employee training programs required.
- Experience implementing employee appreciation and recognition programs.
Office timing: Day shift
Timings: 12:00 pm to 8.30 Pm ( Flexi Hours )
