Urgent Hiring - Flow Chemistry- TT

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling of speciality chemical process engineering/ Tech transfer.
• Knowledge and handling of Unit operations and Unit processes is must
• Lead process design, scale-up, and optimization for chemical and Advanced intermediate, CDMO, CRAMS manufacturing
• Oversee equipment selection, qualification, and facility readiness for new processes.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness and safety of the process and plant safety.
• Manage end-to-end technology transfer projects from R&D/pilot scale to commercial production
• Lead and conduct Process safety studies (RC, DSC, ARC, Powder safety etc.), HAZOP, HIRA, LOPA etc.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operations staff during new process implementation
• Follow lean principal during process scale-up from R&D to commercial
• Preparation of Batch flow diagram, Process flow diagram and P&ID
• Hands on experience of gas handling like NH₃, HCl, Cl₂, BF_3, HF, Ammonia etc
• Experience in handling hazardous reactions like high pressure hydrogenation, amination, Chlorination, Hydrogen fluoride, etc.
• Oversee execution of process validation and report preparation
• Knowledge of process engg tools like MixIt, Dynochem and MS Visio is desired
• Presentation skills must require in PPT, Excel, Word
• Audit exposure like IMS, Responsible care etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:

MSc/PhD in Organic with 3-5 yrs of experience in Flow chemistry at R&D/PP scale

BE Chemical Engineering with 3-5 yrs of experience in Flow chemistry at R&D/PP scale

Total experience in R&D/TT can be up to 10 yrs

• Experience:

Worked in R&D/TT/PP with min 3-5 yrs in handling different type of flow reactors

Experience in handling & designing batch to continuous processes (e.g. Nitration, Grignard, hydrogenation, etc)

Developed & scaled up batch processes into continuous flow processes (Important requirement)
