Job Description:
*Foundry Supervisor - Non-Ferrous Casting*
*Location:* P-96, Benaras Road, Howrah - 711108
*Reports to:* Head of Production
*Job Role:*
Supervise day-to-day foundry operations for non-ferrous castings like Gun Metal, Bronze, NAB etc. used for valve manufacturing.
*What You Will Do:*
- Supervise moulding, melting, pouring and fettling activities
- Handle furnace operation and ensure proper metal quality and temperature
- Guide foundry workers and manage shift-wise work
- Check casting quality and reduce defects like porosity, shrinkage
- Coordinate with QC and maintenance team
- Ensure safety, discipline and cleanliness on shop floor
- Maintain daily production and consumption records
*What We Are Looking For:*
- Experience in Foundry - preferably Non-Ferrous (Ferrous candidates with good knowledge can also apply)
- Knowledge of melting, moulding and casting process
- Can read basic drawings and manage manpower
- ITI / Diploma / http://B.Tech / Experienced person from foundry background
- Hardworking, responsible and willing to work on shop floor
- Local candidates from Howrah, Liluah, Salkia, Belur preferred
*Experience:* 3 years and above in foundry
