 Responsibilities:-

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly production operations to achieve production targets and customer delivery commitments.
• Ensure 90%+ OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery through effective coordination with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, NPD, and Sales.
• Drive optimum utilisation of manpower, machinery, and production capacity through effective scheduling, line balancing, and machine loading.
• Monitor production performance and ensure adherence to production plans while minimizing delays and bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, SOPs, IMS procedures, and safety regulations across all production processes.
• Identify production constraints and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime, rejection, rework, and productivity losses.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, process optimisation, and waste reduction projects.
• Develop and implement cost-control measures covering manpower, overtime, consumables, material wastage, and conversion costs.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to improve equipment reliability through preventive maintenance and faster breakdown resolution.
• Monitor and review production KPIs including OEE, productivity, machine utilisation, rejection, downtime, OTIF, and conversion cost.
• Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring production and quality issues.
• Support new product development, product trials, capacity expansion, automation, and machinery upgrade projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams through performance management, training, and succession planning.
• Conduct daily production review meetings and submit timely MIS reports on operational performance to senior management.
• Foster a culture of safety, discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

 Required Skills

• Production planning, scheduling, and end-to-end shop-floor operations.
• Strong knowledge of Printing/Packaging processes, especially Sheetfed/Offset Printing and finishing.
• OEE, machine utilisation, capacity planning, productivity improvement, and downtime reduction.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and cost control.
• Quality systems, SOP/IMS compliance, RCA, CAPA, and problem-solving.
• Manpower planning, team leadership, performance management, and training.
• ERP/MIS-based production monitoring and strong cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Printing/Mechanical
