Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to develop, design, and optimize conveyor systems and lift solutions. The candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, ensuring design accuracy, and supporting the manufacturing and installation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop conveyor systems, lifts, and related mechanical components.
- Prepare 2D/3D drawings using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Analyze design requirements and ensure feasibility, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with production, installation, and procurement teams.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on project requirements.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Support site team during installation and troubleshooting when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in conveyor, lift, or material handling systems (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industrial automation or material handling projects.
- Knowledge of load calculations and structural design.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and safety norms.
