Job Description:

The software engineer will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Microsoft Dynamic Business Central), ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration with business processes. This role specializes in SQL-based databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) and manages ERP database architecture, performance tuning, and data integrity. The IT ERP Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to align ERP solutions with business needs while maintaining high availability and security standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ERP System & Database Management:
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL) supporting ERP systems. 
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of ERP databases. 
  • Design & complex queries, implement database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and queries for ERP modules. 
  • Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization for efficient ERP operations. 
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) plans for ERP databases. 
  • Manage and plan cybersecurity measures & requirements. 
  1. ERP/MSBC Implementation & Integration:
  • Lead ERP/MSBC upgrades, patches, and migrations while ensuring minimal downtime. 
  • Integrate ERP systems with other business applications (HRMS, BI tools & POS APK). 
  • Work with vendors and developers to customize ERP modules as per business needs. 
  • Ensure data consistency across integrated systems.
  1. Security & Compliance:
  • Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) for ERP users. 
  • Monitor and audit database access to prevent unauthorized changes. 
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), SOX, or industry-specific regulations related to ERP data. 
  1. Troubleshooting & Support:
  • Resolve ERP-related database issues (deadlocks, performance bottlenecks). 
  • Provide technical support to end-users and IT teams for ERP-related queries. 
  • Document database structures, ERP workflows, and troubleshooting guides. 
  1. Team Leadership & Strategy:
  • Manage a team of ERP analysts, DBAs, and developing vendors. 
  • Train staff in ERP best practices and SQL database management. 
  1. Required Skills:
  • Expertise inSQL Server & MySQL(administration, optimization). 
  • Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and ERP integrations. 
  1. Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management. 
  • Project management (Agile, Waterfall methodologies). 
  1. Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator 
  • Oracle MySQL Database Administrator 
  • Certified ERP Professional (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP Certifications) 

Age: 28 to 32 Years

Work experience: 4-5 Years in ERP management (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite, etc.)

Gender: Male

Candidates Profile:

  • Advanced T-SQL, PL/SQL, and query optimization
  • Knowledge of ERP modules (finance, sales automation, HR, inventory)
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Service), and other reporting tools.
