Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is mandatory. Advanced certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) are a plus.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Manager – Quality Control to lead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring our electrical switches and accessories meet strict industry standards (ISO, BIS). Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will oversee the quality control department, drive process improvements, and collaborate with production, engineering, R&D, and procurement teams to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and systems.
- Establish and oversee testing and inspection procedures for electrical switches, sockets, and plug tops.
- Lead in-process testing, final inspections, and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage and mentor the quality control team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manage internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
- Maintain quality documentation and generate performance reports.
- Address customer complaints, analyze feedback, and enhance testing protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in quality control for electrical switches or related products.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, BIS standards, and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma, Lean, and 5S methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- This is a mid-level management role for professionals passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement in the electrical industry.
